Where do we start: with a complimentary discovery call of 20 minutes.
Conceptualizes and produces aesthetic, functional, and safe designs for interior spaces (residential and commercial)
PROGRAMMING: Understanding the critical path of the project provides the basis of the project timeline. This phase is pre-design and is critical to determine the scope of the work and identify the project team.
CONCEPTING: The first of the design phase is the concept phase. In many cases this phase may be broken into two distinct milestones; concept and schematic design.
DETAILING: Once the client has approved the design phases, the in-depth detailing of the project’s design begins.
REALIZING: The implementation of the design is overseen by the design team. They work closely with the consultants, experts and contractor. Problem solving as needed, through all stages of the construction process. Understanding the critical path of project provides basis timeline.

Interior Designers Professional Practice
As an Interior Designer, I work very much like that of Architects. We work on specific building classifications such as residential and small commercial buildings that meet the criteria of our professional practice as outlined in the Architects Act.
This means that we follow a process of conception and realization of design projects following a proven design strategy and processes, that incorporate the science of architect and the art of design in that we form ideas and concepts to envision the creation of something new in the interior; this crafting of the interior, requires that planning and management are at the center of my approach. While not forgetting the consideration of function in space (usability factor), safety (is it safe to use, does it at least meet the minimum standards of the existing building code), economic (The overall return on investment considerations for current trends), as well as the social, cultural and environmental criteria.

Our Greeting Call. (about 15 to 20 minutes) Everyone starts here! *Whether your project is large or small all clients start here. An introductory call where we can talk openly about your interior design project goals and ask any questions about our services. - We are NO LONGER BOOKING DISCOVERY CALLS UNTIL END JUNE 2024.

Complimentary Discovery Call
Schedule a greeting call to get your project started. Whether you're looking for a full-service design or something in between, and you just don't know where to start, we can help you navigate the next steps in your design project.
Schedule your call your <<complimentary greeting call>>, take our questionnaire and block 20 minutes of your time with us by going to our online availability calendar here. We email a quick online questionnaire to complete to get all the housekeeping items out of the way so we can focus on what is important - the interior design project details itself and to identify if we are good fit for your project goals.
After our greeting call and if we both decide it is a good idea to move to the next step in our design process, we will send you a link to a scheduled virtual meeting or we can book an initial site visit right away. This 2nd step is an optional next step and really is a client preference, you may choose to move right to step 3 - our initial on-site visit.
Step 2
Virtual Meet and GREET ZOOM (45 minutes to 1 hour ) *Client decides if this step is worthwhile to them. This can be beneficial if they want to involve their partners, or they are not quite clear about the design process options prior to an on-site visit. This is a complimentary service.
Complimentary Virtual Meet and Greet
Together we will schedule your ZOOM virtual meeting (up to an hour and only after having the greeting call) so we can show you exactly what our value is and what you can expect from our custom and personalized design services. We demonstrate what you can expect and the steps we take to help you achieve the interiors you've always envisioned.
*All virtual meetings receive a private zoom link at a predetermined date and time and NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK AFTER HAVING A GREETING CALL. (Step 1 See above) It is possible to eliminate this step altogether as many of our clients prefer to move right to step 3 our initial on-site visit.

Initial On-Site Visit *Conditions apply
Initial On-Site Visit - This is always after the greeting call and/or after a virtual meet if you chose that added complimentary service to better understand our design service offerings and how we work with a virtual meeting where we share visually how our design process works and all the added value you receive when you choose to work with CDA Interiors.
After your virtual meeting with us, we recommend moving to our next step which is an initial site visit where your designer travels to your location. *Conditions apply(Montreal - Vaudreuil-Dorion and outlying areas) to better understand your project, take the general approximate measurements and photos of your space. This is not to be confused with a design consultation but part of the information gathering needed to begin your design project file and outline the project scope of work. **EVERY project begins with an *initial site visit. Whether your project is large or small, we will be happy to learn about it.
(You MUST have had a "GREETING CALL" with us prior to an on-site visit) * On site in Montreal, Vaudreuil-Dorion and outlying areas or online design in Canada I invite you to schedule your initial site visit with your designer here.
